Documenting My Week – Black and White Photography

Documentary photography is one of my favorite genre’s to play around with. It wasn’t till about a year or 2 ago that I actually got into documentary photography because beforehand I just didn’t understand it. Now, however, I’ve come to love it, It’s like creating your very own time capsule.

I’ve taken images of the most prominent thing from every day this week, sometimes that meant taking more than one photograph and hopefully, you’ll get a narrative of what I did this week however, if you want to read more about it you can visit my sister post, family orientated week where I go into a lot more detail about the things I got up to this week.

All of these images were taken with my amazing new phone, Huawei P20 Pro, which I am not yet bored of and am still happy that I got rid of my iPhone for this beautiful piece of technology. I used the monochrome setting for these images, which takes images using only the monochrome camera.

  1. I like your pictures. They tell a story even if I’m not sure of the story . I know there’s a deep meaning behind it. I feel like your pictures keep me engaged . I want to know the story you’re trying to tell.
