Summer is just around the corner and my journey in education finishes in a couple of weeks. This is the first summer in 6 years that I’m going to not have to think about returning back to education and be stress-free. It’s well and truly going to feel like a ‘summer holiday’. I’m hoping that as soon as I meet my deadlines that I can finally start working on getting my mind back to a place that feels, healthy. It’s going to be amazing to feel human again and not a manic assignment addicted robot!
Anyone who knows me will know how much I am in love with being organized and planning things in advance and looking forward to the future.
So here they are, the 5 things to do this summer!
These last few months have been absolute torture and the fact it is nearly over is the only thing getting me through. I plan and spending the summer relaxing and doing everything that I love without things niggling at the back of my mind like how much work I have to write up.
This may seem a little odd as some people wouldn’t put relaxing with work, but I plan on working on my blog and other business prospects. Call me mad but I actually enjoy this and cannot wait to spend the majority of my time working on ‘the dream’.
This is essential. Everybody, no matter what time of year it needs to inject a little bit of fun into their life and honestly, I really need to practice what I preach because I’ve really not made time for fun for myself during the last few months and it’s made me utterly miserable.
This one ties in with the taking of photographs but also, painting and crafting. I’ve not had much time to be able to do the things that I really love in such a long time and I am planning to really develop my skills further over the summer and let out all that creative frustration out in it’s the best form.
Take Photographs For The Sake of It
I’ve done this a few times over the past year, but not as much as I should be doing as a photographer so I am going to take full advantage of all my spare time over the summer and take so many photographs so be prepared for a lot of photography spam on here!
